(Knightsbridge, Sloane Square or South Kensington tube; buses C1, 14, 74, 19, 137, 22).
Some of these buses normally go along Sloane Street but check for diversions during prolonged works on this road.
On-Street free yellow line parking is available nearby after 6.30 p.m.
This area is not in the London Congestion Zone.

What time
Dancing starts at 7.15pm with a break of about 40 minutes for a convivial picnic supper at about 8.45pm. Please bring your own food; we supply wine and soft drinks. We finish at 10.15pm. Please note the new timings as of November 2024.

What dances
Unfamiliar dances are walked through. Some knowledge of dancing, including the basic formations and the RSCDS terms for these is helpful. Beginners are encouraged to learn the basics at a Royal Scottish Country Dance Society class and join us thereafter for social dancing.

Footwear
Please wear soft Scottish dancing pumps, plimsolls/trainers or non-marking rubber soled shoes to protect both the floor and the other dancers’ feet!

Cost
Includes wine with supper and soft drinks all evening - £10 per evening in the Upper Hall, (£15 for live music nights)

RSVP
Please feel free just to turn up on the night. Friends, new members and visitors are welcome. There is no fee to join our club. Please make yourselves known to Martin, our Chairman. We have a club table for picnic supper. We are very relaxed about individuals coming on their own as we are a friendly and welcoming group.

Hurlingham St. Andrew's Ball
We have a good relationship with The Hurlingham Club in South West London where we enjoy an invitation to the St. Andrew's Ball in November each year.
