*Live Music nights, with Chris Oxtoby

** Since 1972, Peter Knight has led the Little Ship Club dancing, substituted on only two evenings in 50 years. We will celebrate our 50th Anniversary on Thursday 26 May with glitz, glasses of fizz and live music with Chris Oxtoby.

Downstairs at St Columba’s Church, Pont St, SW1
(Knightsbridge or South Kensington tube; buses 14, 30, 74, 19, 137, 22).
In addition, buses 137, 19, 22 go up Sloane Street - get off at Pont Street.
On-Street yellow line parking is available nearby at present after 6.30 p.m.

What time
Dancing starts at 7.30pm with a break of about 40 minutes for a picnic supper at about 8.45pm. Please take a Lateral Flow Test in the 24 hrs beforehand and attend only if the result is negative. St Columba requests that you bring a mask (not required while dancing).
Please bring a picnic; we supply wine and soft drinks. We finish at 10.30pm.

Please wear soft Scottish dancing pumps, plimsolls/trainers or non-marking rubber soled shoes to protect both the sprung floor and the other dancers’ feet!

Includes wine with supper and soft drinks all evening - £15 per evening, (live music nights for the same price).

Please feel free just to turn up on the night. Friends, new members and visitors are welcome. If you wish to dance, you will need to know the basic Scottish dance moves (setting, turning etc). Please make yourselves known to the Chairman, currently Stuart. We have a club table for picnic supper. We are very relaxed about individuals coming on their own as we are a friendly and welcoming group.

Hurlingham St. Andrew's Ball
We have a good relationship with The Hurlingham Club in South West London where we enjoy an invitation to the St Andrew's Ball in November each year.
